A practical, transparent look at the agencies actually doing Reddit marketing well in 2026, including how we evaluated them and where Viewership fits.

Key highlights

  • Most 'best Reddit agency' lists are unsigned SEO content with no disclosed criteria. We're naming ourselves as the author and telling you exactly how we judged each agency.
  • The agencies worth hiring treat Reddit as a trust-based community, not an ad placement. Anyone selling account networks or karma farming is selling you a ban.
  • The right agency depends on whether you need Reddit as a standalone channel or as part of a broader GEO strategy tied to AI citations.

Search “best Reddit marketing agency” and you’ll find a lot of lists that read like press releases: unnamed authors, vague superlatives, no explanation of how anything was ranked. Some are outright fabricated, citing “research groups” that don’t appear to exist anywhere except the article naming them the winner.

We’re not going to pretend to be neutral. Viewership is a GEO agency and Reddit is one of our core services, so we have an obvious interest in this list. What we can do instead is tell you exactly how we evaluated these agencies, name ourselves as the author, and be straight about what each one is actually good at, including where we think we’re not the right fit.

How we evaluated these agencies

We looked at four things for every agency on this list:

Organic-first, not account farms. Reddit bans accounts that post like ads or that were bought pre-aged with karma. An agency that leans on that approach is renting you risk, not building you a presence.

Disclosed affiliation. Reddit’s own spam guidance is clear that hiding a business relationship is worse than having one. Agencies that build in disclosure from the start last longer than ones that try to blend in.

Specialization vs. add-on. Some agencies treat Reddit as one line item inside a broader social retainer. Others build their whole practice around it, or around it plus AI visibility. Neither is automatically better, but it changes what you’re paying for.

Track record you can verify. Case studies, Clutch reviews, named clients, years in the space. Not a badge from an organization nobody else has heard of.

1. Viewership

We’re first on this list because we think our combination is uncommon: Reddit strategy built specifically around what gets cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, not just Reddit engagement for its own sake.

Reddit content is some of the most heavily cited material in LLM outputs, and most agencies running Reddit programs are still optimizing for upvotes and reach the way they would for any other social platform. Our Reddit service is built around subreddit research, disclosed and authentic participation, and monitoring which threads actually show up when someone asks an LLM about your category. We report on citation movement, not vanity engagement numbers.

The honest tradeoff: we’re a small, focused team that takes on a limited number of clients at a time, and Reddit is one piece of a broader GEO practice for us, not a standalone social media offering. If you want a large agency running Reddit as part of a ten-platform social calendar, one of the agencies below is a better fit than we are.

GEO audit

Want to know where your brand stands on Reddit and in AI answers?

We'll audit your current Reddit presence and show you what's actually influencing what LLMs say about your category.

2. Foundation Marketing

Foundation has been working in Reddit since 2017, longer than most agencies have treated it as a channel at all. They’re a B2B and SaaS content marketing agency first, built around a “create once, distribute everywhere” model, with Reddit as one of the distribution channels alongside SEO and content.

Foundation is a strong pick if you already have a content engine and want an agency to place and adapt that content across subreddits where your buyers actually hang out, with GEO folded into the strategy. They’re less of a fit if Reddit is your primary or only channel and you want a team whose full attention is on subreddit-level community work.

3. Growffic

Growffic is a Reddit-focused agency built around what they call a trust-driven approach: subreddit research, sentiment analysis, and organic participation, with GEO explicitly part of the pitch rather than an afterthought.

They’re a reasonable option for B2B, SaaS, and ecommerce brands that want an agency whose primary focus is Reddit specifically rather than social media broadly. As with any smaller, newer shop, ask for recent client examples and current pricing before committing since both can move quickly at this size.

4. Sociallyin

Sociallyin is one of the more established independent social media agencies in the US, founded in 2011 with an in-house production studio. Reddit is one channel inside a much broader social offering that spans most major platforms.

Their stated approach to Reddit is defensive: if you can’t hold your own in the comments, you shouldn’t be posting. That’s a reasonable philosophy for brands that already have social media budget elsewhere and want Reddit added to an existing multi-platform retainer rather than run as its own workstream.

5. Online Optimism

Online Optimism is a full-service digital marketing agency out of New Orleans that runs both organic Reddit campaigns and Reddit ads, on top of SEO, paid search, and other channels.

They make sense for brands that want one agency handling Reddit alongside a wider marketing mix, including paid Reddit ads, which several of the more specialized agencies on this list don’t run at all. If you specifically want an agency that only does organic Reddit and GEO work, this is a broader shop than that.

What actually matters when you’re choosing

Whoever you hire, ask these questions before you sign anything:

Do they disclose brand affiliation? If an agency’s pitch involves accounts that don’t read as affiliated with your brand, that’s a real risk to your Reddit presence and your reputation if it surfaces.

What happens to old, aged accounts? Some agencies use accounts with built-up karma history. Ask directly where those accounts came from and what happens if Reddit flags them.

How do they measure success? Upvotes and comment counts are easy to report and easy to game. Ask whether they track anything tied to actual business outcomes: referral traffic, LLM citations, or pipeline.

Do they know the difference between Reddit ads and organic Reddit marketing? These are genuinely different disciplines with different teams, tools, and success metrics. An agency should be able to explain clearly which one they’re proposing and why.

Getting started

There’s no single “best” agency here. There’s the agency that matches what you’re actually trying to do: a large multi-platform social retainer, a B2B content distribution engine, a Reddit-only specialist, or a Reddit presence built specifically to move what LLMs say about your brand.

If that last one is what you’re after, get in touch with Viewership. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit before we take your money, and if we’re not, we’d rather say so upfront than sign a retainer that doesn’t match what you need.
